INDIAN ARMY SEMINAR: EX GYANWARDHAN EQUIPMENT EXPOSITION, NEW DELHI
Excersice Gyanwardhan is a national seminar held at Head Quarter with the purpose of developing awareness on the latest equipments useful for Indian Army. The Ex Gyanwardhan for the year 2009 held on 04th June at HQ Technical Group EME, Delhi cantt. The seminar was extremely helpful in creating awareness among Indian Army regarding the oil analysis equipments. The Seminar had a healthy discussions and presentations to better understand the Indian Army’s existing and evolving requirements of technologies and products. The Heads of several areas such as Artillery, Weapons & Equipment, Signals, Information Systems, and Infantry visited the seminar.
TRIBO-INDIA CONFERENCE ON TRIBOLOGY OF AUTOMOTIVE SYSTEMS, NEW DELHI
Tribology Society of India (TSI) is the premier professional body in India, which has been promoting the awareness, practice, research, education and training in Tribology for the past two decades. Department of Mechanical Engineering & ITMMEC, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi jointly with Delhi Chapter of TSI organized a National Conference on “Tribology of Automotive Systems” from 11th December to 12th December 2009 at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. The main motive of this conference is to provide a common platform to researchers from industry, R & D organization and academic institute, who are working on automotive systems to reduce friction and wear in transportation. Tough competition, government regulations and rapid technological advancements in automotive sectors clearly points towards the growing need of research efforts in the area of tribology of automotive systems. The purpose of this conference will bring together the tribology fraternity to explore, disseminate and strengthen initiatives in the area of improvements in automotive sectors.
NEW FRONTIERS IN BIO FUELS: DELHI TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT, NEW DELHI
Biofuels, also known as agrofuels, are fuels produced from living organisms or from metabolic by-products like - plant biomass, vegetable oils, and treated municipal and industrial wastes. International conference in bio fuel/ biodiesel was organised by Delhi Technology Department, New Delhi from Januray 18-19 2010. The purpose of this seminar/conference was to bring latest trend in development in the areas of biodiesel, its emission & implication on environment. It proved fruitful in bringing together various researchers & faculty from various discipline of bio fuel & alternate fuel technology.
